TikTok to MP3 Downloader

Want just the sound from a TikTok — a song, a voiceover, a viral audio? Paste the TikTok link and download the audio on its own as an MP3 (or M4A, WAV, and more). No screen recording, no re-encoding hassle: you get a clean audio file straight from the source.

Works with public links only. We never store the videos you download — links are resolved on demand.

Extraction is not conversion

Pulling audio out of a TikTok does not re-record anything. The video file already contains a separate audio stream — usually AAC — sitting alongside the video stream in the same container. Extracting it copies that stream out into its own file. When that stream is written to MP3 it is genuinely re-encoded, which costs a little quality; when it is written to M4A the original AAC data can often be copied through untouched. If fidelity matters more than universal compatibility, the AAC path is the better one.

What the ceiling actually is

TikTok audio is typically delivered around 128 kbps, sometimes less. No extraction produces better than the source, and a tool offering "320 kbps MP3" from a 128 kbps TikTok is padding the file with no added information — a bigger file that sounds identical. Expect the result to be serviceable for listening and unsuitable for anything where audio quality is the point.

Original sounds versus library tracks

TikTok distinguishes between a creator's original audio and a track from its licensed catalogue. Both are embedded in the video the same way and both extract the same way, but they are legally very different. An original sound is the creator's own work. A library track is licensed to TikTok for use inside TikTok — extracting it produces a copy of commercial music that your extraction does not license you to use. It is the single most common way people accidentally commit a copyright infringement while thinking they are just saving a song.

Voice, not music

The most defensible uses are the least musical ones: keeping a recipe narration, a language-learning clip, a lecture excerpt, an interview answer, or a creator's spoken explanation you want to listen to while commuting. Speech survives low bitrates far better than music does, so these use cases also happen to be the ones where TikTok's modest audio quality matters least.

Trimming happens after, not during

Extraction gives you the full audio for the clip's whole duration, including any silence at the start or end. If you want just the chorus or one sentence, trim afterwards in any audio editor. Doing the cut during extraction would require re-encoding the whole stream, which is exactly the quality loss worth avoiding.

A note on what you do with it

Saving a sound for personal listening is one thing. Uploading extracted music as your own audio, or building a monetised video on top of a track you pulled from someone else's post, is another. The extraction is trivially easy; that does not make it licensed.

TikTok to MP3 downloader — FAQ

How do I download the audio from a TikTok?

Paste the TikTok link, press Download, and choose the MP3 (or M4A) option from the results — it saves the sound only, without the video.

What audio formats can I choose?

MP3 and M4A cover most needs; lossless WAV and FLAC are also available if you want the highest fidelity.

What bitrate will the MP3 be?

It matches the source, typically around 128 kbps. Requesting a higher bitrate produces a larger file with no additional audio information in it.

Can I extract just part of the audio?

Extraction returns the full clip's audio. Trimming afterwards in any audio editor avoids the quality loss that re-encoding during extraction would cause.

Why does my MP3 have no title or artist?

Video files carry no ID3 tags, so extracted audio arrives untagged. Adding tags straight away is far easier than identifying files later.

Is it legal to extract music from TikTok?

Extraction is mechanical; permission is separate. Music from TikTok's catalogue is licensed for playback inside TikTok and that licence does not extend to a file you keep or publish.
