Status & changelog

Every dated change to the site, newest first. If a link stops working, this is also where to tell us.

Live platform health isn't tracked on this page yet.

Platforms change how they serve media without warning, and we don't run automated checks that could tell you, honestly, whether a given platform works at this moment. If a link stops working, tell us. Every report is read by a person, and fixes land in the changelog below.

Changelog

October 2026

  1. New

    New design

The whole site was redesigned for clarity on small phones, in light and dark mode. Four new pages: the companion app page, an All downloaders directory, a Help center, and this Status & changelog page.

September 2026

  1. Improved

Paste bar moved up on phones

The homepage intro was shortened so the paste bar sits in the top half of a small phone screen. The platform list moved below the tool.

  2. Fixed

    Download options scroll into view

On small screens the results could land below the fold or under the sticky header, so the Download button seemed to do nothing. Results now scroll into clear view after a link resolves.

  3. Improved

Task pages linked across the site

Specific tools such as Instagram Story, TikTok to MP3 and Reddit video with sound are now linked from the homepage and from their platform's page, so they're easy to find.

  4. Improved

Faster connection to the download service

Pages now open the connection to the download service and the human-verification check early, which saves a round trip when you press Download.

  5. Improved

Sitemap shows when each page last changed

The sitemap now carries a real last-modified date for every page, taken from when its content actually changed, so search engines pick up updates sooner.

  6. Fixed

    Clearer human-verification step

When a link needs the one-time human check, the tool now says "Checking you're human" instead of showing a fetch bar that looked stuck.

  7. New

    Vimeo guide

A guide to what can and can't be downloaded from Vimeo.

  3. Improved

    About and Contact pages updated

  4. Removed

    Pop-up ad networks removed

Monetag and Adsterra are gone, along with their pop-unders, push notifications, ad-gated download step and anti-adblock wall. Google AdSense is now the only ad network, and no ad ever stands between you and a download.

  5. New

    First guides published

Guides for Instagram Reels, Instagram Stories, TikTok without a watermark, Twitter / X videos, and turning a social video into MP3.

ReelsDownloader moved to its own domain, with a page for each supported platform. The old saveit.mobilebytesensei.com address redirects here.
